Great beer doesn’t just happen. It starts with great people, a great place, and a stubborn refusal to settle for anything less.

We’re Gem Creek Brewing Co. born from family ties, lifelong friendships, and an unshakable love for the Finger Lakes. Our name comes from the small, sparkling creek that runs through Waterloo, our home town, a quiet reminder that even the tiniest source can spark something extraordinary.

Founders Guy Mosher and Zach Reynolds turned years of homebrewing, endless hop debates, and way too many late-night recipe sessions into a full-blown brewery in Canandaigua. What began in garages and kitchens is now a taproom where every pint carries our personality, craftsmanship, and community.

We brew bold, unapologetic beer, fan-favorite double IPAs like Citrine, crisp lagers, and the ever-evolving experiments in our Dichroscope Trials series. We’re constantly chasing new flavors, pushing boundaries, and having fun doing it.

But beer is only half the story. Long before we poured our first pint, we were perfecting our house-made pizza. Guy, Zach, and their closest crew spent countless hours dialing in the crust, sauce, and every topping combo until it was exactly right. We’re perfectionists about it because a great beer deserves a great slice to match.

So whether you’re pulling up a stool for a Citrine and a Ruby Rush, sharing a flight with friends, or just soaking in the vibe of our cozy taproom on Eastern Boulevard, we’re here for one thing: to create moments worth raising a glass to.
